Character’s name: Envy
Fandom: Fullmetal Alchemist

Job: Serves & waits on tables in the local cafe
History: Envy was inadvertently created as the first homunculus four-hundred years ago in a failed human transmutation by Hohenheim of Light during a botched attempt to resurrect his diseased son. Weak, vulnerable and barely resembling anything humanoid he was abandoned and subsequently taken in and raised by his ‘mother’ who encouraged him to grow strong on red stones (an unfinished philosophers stone made from red water; a naturally occurring substance with alchemic properties) and develop his own abilities whilst twisting his raw hatred and anger into something malicious and powerful within its own right. It is said that this moment in his early life triggered his slow decent into madness though he claims to have no memory of this incident or much of his life.
Being a homunculus; Envy has been able to lead a long and eventful life with the aid of red stones and his own manipulative tendencies to talk himself out of any situation he happens to find himself in. Throughout his life he has paved the way and even caused several notable incidents that have gone down in history that include fatally shooting a small foreign child that resulted in all out warfare and ended in a devastating massacre of an entire race of people and the reintroduction of a particularly contagious disease capable of transforming ordinarly, healthy people into stone that eradicated an entire village overnight.
He arrived at Dusk Village seemingly out of the blue; a mere husk of his former self with minor injuries that his body in its weakened state was unable to heal. His motives are still unknown but until he can acquire red stones to replace those that he lost he is stuck trying to blend in amongst the creatures he despises.

Pets: None. Envy has no soul and animals have a sixth sense for that kind of thing, needless to say he has not met an animal that has liked him.
